It is a hostile place, a wolf must be strong to survive here. It is not uncommon to see corpses lying around with no blood. Wolves who seek residence in this pack but aren't strong enough will wind up just another decoration.

The animals living in the forest are just as strange, many of the deer have bones for their antlers, sharp hooves and glowing red eyes. Hunting wolves must be very wary, for prey may become predator.

Whilst deer, Elk and other animals are caught in the dead forest, Rabbits and Hares run in abundance here. The grass grows long so it can be hard to spot your prey, but there is so much that doesn't matter.

![[ ]](http://s1.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Acid River Red waters run across the land, running swiftly with few meanders. The water is terribly bitter and only snake-like eels with crushing jaws slither under its surface. If they can be caught, the eels make a tasty treat.

A wolf would be lucky to get even half-way, and then there is no reason to climb it. Its surface is covered in ash-like black soil that can only support a few stunted trees.

| Howlers |

Violence is tolerated to some extent as in the Howler Camp they do not require wolves to be either good or bad, Vampiric or normal.

Scattered with Ox-bow lakes from the thick river which flows through the area. The marsh is cramped with wildlife, most of it insect and plant. Mooses are a fairly common sight, though the soft ground makes it difficult and extremely dangerous to hunt them.

![[ ]](http://s1.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Excelcis Lake Crocodiles ahoy! Exelcis Lake is massive, it stretches to the horizon, although that is where it stops. It is a good place to catch prey while it drinks, although beware other creatures have the same idea. The water is mostly clear, although at its bottom reeds lurk they are too far down to worry a wolf going for a paddle on the surface, its what hides in the reeds they should worry about.

Through all seasons rabbits can be found, with the occassional deer or elk. There are also other predators to compete with, the tall grass can hide snakes, and potholes which could break a wolf's ankle.

Here all wolves follow StarPack, vicious wolves will be banished from the territory. A friendly group in the end, although Vampire wolves are not allowed to join they won't be simply attacked for what they are.

There is a pond somewhere that has never been unfrozen since the ice age. Blizzards are fierce, and any animal which wishes to roam here must also be fierce. Thick fur and sharp claws are a must, plus a bit of luck. Snow leopards may sometimes lurk hidden in a drift, ready for anything which should pass by.

| Tailess Lands |

It is a large collection of rocks all in a line, fairly stable so long as a storm isn't brewing. There are flat sections of rocks were a wolf may rest, although there are also sharks in the water below to anyone unlucky enough to slip on the seaweed lacing every square inch of stone.

Streets link around everywhere with roaring machines that run through the middle. Very little food is available despite the gorgeous smells in the air. Any animal caught on the streets will find itself in the pound.

Some animals are used for painful lab experiments, others may be taken into the Wilderness and set free, or taken to a wildlife reserve, some may be simply killed while others may find themselves becoming a pet.

The forest seems to be invisible to Tailess, and there is no development there. Often a man-Tailess or woman-Tailess will walk past the forest and not even glance at it, no Tailess seems to even talk about it. Wolves which choose to live in the City often have their dens here.

| Spirit Worlds |

The world is much like the physical world, only everything is bathed in night, and the stars shine hugely over the land. Although there are no creatures to hunt, the wolves can make a game of tracking each other down.

Purgatory is a place where a wolf can redeem themselves, or maybe pull themselves down into Legion's realm. This land consists of a vast expanse of white, there are no physical features apart from the wolves stuck there.

This world is made up of a series of fiery plains with the odd volcano. The skies look like they are burning, there is no day or night.

Every now and then an Alpha may come and howl to summon a meeting with its fellows. Wolves in danger may seek out StarRocks, although there is no food near the area so they cannot stay for long.

The depths could easily entangle and drown an inexperienced wolf. This is a common drinking area for Loners and Rogues. There is an unofficial rule not to attack others while at the waters edge.
