No Name peeled his lips back, saliva drooling down from his open maw. Thick fur stood up all along his shoulders, adding two more inches onto his size. The wolf waited a while more before deciding the wolverine really wasn't going to get up again. The damn thing had popped up out of its burrow as No Name had passed, and bit his leg. No Name didn't like other creatures even when they didn't attack him first. The wolverine's leg twitched as a last sign of its life. It hadn't been easy to kill the thing, twice he'd thought it was gone for, only to have it attack again when he turned his back. Why it had attacked... No Name wandered to the place where it had bolted from, and was greeted with tiny squeals and the smell of new-born pups. "Talk about advertising them." He barked in disgust, showering dirt and leaves over the dead body of his assailant. Not a sign of respect, certainly not from him. No Name licked his lips, and eased the top half of the den apart, until he could see the wolverine litter, so helpless in their nest. More drool dropped from his mouth, he allowed himself a moment before putting his head down to the pups. A few seconds later terrified squeals broke out. A minute later No Name rose his red head, darker red eyes glittering happily. Such little things, with so much blood. Deed done, he collapsed the den in on itself, covering what was left of the litter. "Christmas is early." He howled like a hyeena in laughter.

Paws seemed to move on their own as Katsu followed the twisting scent trails of various animals, his nose just a few inches above the ground. Everything was the same. Squirrel, vole, snake. The intertwining paths were always the same scents. Katsu was ready to give up and try a new spot until he came across another scent. Not one hovering on the ground, but one whispering through the trees. A scent blown by the breeze. Blood.
Head tilted up to the sky this time, nose twitching, Katsu followed the scent. "Christmas is early." The voice came from a white wolf bent over a disturbed wolverine den. "No Name?" He kept his brindle fur from bristling with surprise. Katsu hadn't quite expected to see the omega. The fact the creature had eaten the wolverine pups wouldn't go over well with the Alpha, but Katsu decided it best to keep that thought to himself. It wouldn't do anyone good.

Featherdust growled, having finished drinking a few rabbits dry. He was annoyed, no matter how much blood he drank, he was always thirsty. It drove him mad since he disliked having to hunt so much. He walked towards the fresh scent of blood, wondering who killed what. Featherdust walked towards the scent, licking his jaws as he tried to remove the blood from his muzzle, the scent of blood not helping him hold back his thirst. He saw No Name and growled, noticing Katsu soon after, "So, who had the kill?" Featherdust looked between the wolves, still licking his muzzle clean.

No Name turned on Katsu, snarling ferally. "What?" He barked, suspiciously red spit falling from his mouth. His tail whipped from side to side behind him, showing his anger at being called. Then another scent, just as ladled with blood as he was reached him, and he turned to glare at the newest arrival, fur's movement increasing as his emotions rose according to the number of wolves around him. "It was the wolverines fault." He spat in reply, mouth dropping wide to allow each word to pass, and to show his prominent teeth. "My kill." He added, as if someone was going to take what was rightfully his from him. As usual, No Name eyed both wolves critically, sizing them up, considering whether or not it would be a waste of time trying to wrestle with them. Of course he wouldn't kill them, considering then he'd be exiled which would be so bothersome, but a good scrap never went amiss. That they were both male made him want to fight even more, instead of bothering with acting like he was actually a decent wolven-being. "Wolverines are such bitches to kill. Stupidly small with an even stupider fighting spirt." He barked, shaking his head free of most the salivary blood dripping from his jaw.

Featherdust growled, "I'm not here to pick a fight with a lazy and seemly crazed wolf." Featherdust turned and ran off, thinking of hunting for more animals, hoping that he could at least weaken his thirst.

Katsu blinked. The third wolf no sooner appeared than ran off. Was it an illusion? No, he was sure he saw it. He sniffed the air, just to be sure. Yes, it was real. Thinking about what the wolf had to say about No Name, Katsu stifled laughter. Not the best thing to say to the wolf's face. Katsu returned his attention to No Name. "So, how many of them were there?" He licked his lips, swiping away the drool that was collecting. The loud voice of the thirst screamed-no, more like keened-in his ears.

No Name watched FeatherDust leave with an expression of undiluted hate on his face. "I'll get him later." He promised to himself, never being a wolf that could handle insults, completely uncalled for ones too, considering he hadn't tried to eat either of them! Well that was just what happened when he tried to be 'good'. His tail thrashed with anticipation, he'd have to wait a while though, too soon and the cur would expect it. The wolf grinned, curved fangs flashing in the light. He'd look forward to it. Then Katsu regained some of his attention, making No Name half turn his head in the red wolfs direction. "How many fought, or how many in the litter? Cause it was one and then five." He barked, watching with mild curiosity how Katsu was salivating too. They must share the same tastes, how sentimental. Ruffling his fur that wasn't red by genetics but rather his actions, he stalked close to Katsu until their noses were just an inch away. "I'm sure there are more around, if you don't mind minature bears chewing on your paws." He breathed heavily, enjoying the smell of blood on his own breath.
