Name: Ramses
Age: 27 moons
Gender: Male
Breed: African Wild Cat
Clan: Waveclan
Status: Warrior
Appearance
Ramses, as previously stated, is an African Wild Cat. Though all house-cats are descended from his breed, he is a little larger than these descendents. He weighs in at 15 pounds and is 23 inches long without counting his tail, which adds another 11 inches to his length. He is a pale tan spotted creature, his markings of the deepest black and his eyes a sapphire blue so deep that many find them mesmorizing. He is a sleek creature, long and lanky, built for both speed and power.
Personality
Ramses is a very passionate creature, both very fierce when provoked (and he is easily provoked) and compassionate when the object of his affections does something that gains his favor; whether this be potential mate, family, or just close friend. He is very perceptive and clever, but has a tendency to jump to conclusions. He is an intimidating opponent, due to his unusual size and ferocity, and there are few creatures willing to take him on in battle.
History
Ramses was born in Africa, but traveled here when he crossed the sea on a merchants boat. He had been hunting rats, and realised too late that the boat had departed. He had only been a year old then, but already on his own since wild cats don't keep their kittens beyond the space of a year.
He had remained with the ship for the space of another year. The men of the ship became fond of him for he was useful to them. He killed the mice and rats in the food stores and became a sort of beloved mascot for the confined merchant sailors. But one thunderous summer night, a tempest swept in and the ship sank beneath the onslaught of the monstrous waves the great winds had stirred up. This memory was one of terror for Ramses. He can only remember his desperate struggle to keep his head above the surging sea.
Next thing he knew, he was lying on a rocky beach, half drowned and not understanding how he had arrived in this place. The trees were were many and much larger than the ones he had known along the shores of the Nile. He rose on unsteady paws and wandered into unfamiliar territory, a bit wary of his peculiar surroundings but unafraid of what he might find.
